We've developed Maxidrain and Maxicare ourselves. So you won't find them - or a cleaner whirlpool or spa - anywhere else.
All Bronte whirlpool baths are fitted with Maxicare antibacterial pipework the unique system which kills bacteria 24 hours a day 7 days a week for the lifetime of your bath.
All our whirlpools are also fitted with Maxidrain pipework, the unique method of ensuring your pipes drain completely. This ensures that no water is left behind in which bacteria can breed becoming harmful and smelly.
Our spa systems have a blow-dry cleaning cycle operated either manually or automatically. This prevent s water from collecting and stagnating in your pipework .
Unlike most systems, with Bronte baths there's no need to use chemical disinfectants after every use. All you need to do is use our 'Refresh' care sachet once a month. Simple !
Maxidrain, with its arched pipe, v-shaped jets and sloping suction pipe, empties the water back into the bath and down the plughole. Simple - but effective
New Maxicare Antibacterial Pipework
Two new and clean samples of pipe were tested - one from an ordinary whirlpool bath, one from a whirlpool bath fitted with Maxicare pipework .Using approved testing methods small amounts of staphylococcus aureus ( a common skin bacteria ) and legionella pneumophila (much more rare but the common cause of Legionnaire's disease ) were deliberately introduced to both samples
24 hours later, the ordinary whirlpool pipe was found to have bred 500,000 (half a million )bacteria but the Bronte Maxicare sample contained just 10bacteria ! Most of the introduced bacteria had been killed and further bacteria were prevented from breeding.
Maxicare is also effective against desulfovibrio, desulfuricans, the cause of the black flakes which appear after using some whirlpool baths.
